Since online payment methods break the geographical restrictions and let customers purchase even without a physical presence, setting up an online payment method is one of the very first and most crucial steps in opening an e-commerce business. For many e-commerce business owners, setting up an online payment method is a complicated process that can take weeks or even months to complete.
To make this process easier and faster, we have collected all the necessary information you need to know about setting up an online payment method on ShopOnCloud.
This step-by-step guide will help you set up online payment methods on your ShopOnCloud online store that is right for your business.
Step 1 - Log in to your ShopOnCloud account.
Step 2 - Click on settings on the left side menu.
Step 3 - Click on Payment under the Settings section.
Step 4 - Afterwards, choose the ADD NEW button to add a new manual payment method.
Step 5 - Next, go to the Payment Service Provider option.
Step 6 - Select the respective Payment Service Provider.
Step 7 - Add the Display Name of the payment service provider you want to add.
Step 8 - Enable the Display in the Cart option if you want the payment service provider to appear in the cart.
Step 9 - Choose the respective currency.
Step 10 - Enable the Mode toggle.
The mode toggle provides two options for users - Test Mode and Production Mode. By default when you add a payment method, you should choose Production Mode. However, you can opt for Test mode as well.
Step 11 - Type in your Pre-payment instructions in the text field by clicking Add.
Step 12 - You can also add Post-payment instructions in the text field by clicking Add.
Step 13 - Next, fill in the details for the relevant payment service provider.
Step 14 - Finally, click the ADD PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDER button once done.
