Creating Promo Codes for Selected Products

Call it something everyone eagerly looks forward to or simply can't go without, promo codes give your customers yet another fabulous reason to shop at your online store!

With the latest ShopOnCloud updates, now you can assign promo codes to selected products that would soon turn out to be the best-selling items in your store. Not only does it improve website traffic, but also encourages more word of mouth. Within no time, your online store will be introduced to a larger crowd. To add these offers to the selected products, you will have to go through the following steps.

How do I add new offer information?

Step 1 - Log in to your ShopOnCloud account.

Step 2 - Click “Offers” on the left side menu.

Step 3 - Click on “Cart Sale” under the Offers section.

Step 4 - Click the “+” sign in the right-top corner to add a new offer.

Step 5 - Add a name to your offer.

Step 6 - Add a description to your offer.

Step 7 - Activate the “Active” toggle.

Step 8 - Activate the “Has Discount Code” toggle.

Step 9 - Type the “Discount Code”.

Step 10 - Select a Start Date and a Start Time for the offer.

Step 11 - Select an End Date and an End Time for the offer.

Step 12 - Click the drop-down in the “Process More” field and select either Yes or No. This will decide whether or not the customer will be directed to more offers.

Step 13 - Adjust the Priority option. You can choose what offer comes before what in this section. Click “Next” once you are done.

How do I create a new rule?

Step 14 - Select either All or Any under “Master Rules”.

Step 15 - Select either True or False in the “Select Condition” section.

Step 16 - Include the “Product Name” in the attribute section.

Step 17 - Select the type of condition.

Step 18 - Click the   icon. 

Step 19 - Select the “Products” you wish to include.

Step 20 - Click the “Add to Rule” button on the right side bottom. 

Step 21 - Click on “Next”.

How do I apply a new offer to the shopping cart?

Step 22 - Select the type of offer in the “Apply” section. The type of offer has to be chosen between “Percentage of the total price”, where the offer will apply to the amount as a percentage, and “Fixed amount discount” where the offer can be applied as a fixed amount.

Step 23 - Include the amount you wish to reduce in the “Discount Amount” section. 

Step 24 - Click the "Add" button to customize the cart discount.

Step 25 - Click the “Select Attribute” dropdown.

Step 26 - Select the “Product”.

Step 27 - Click the  icon. 

Step 28 - Select the “Products” you wish to include.

Step 29 - Click the “Add to Rule” button on the right side bottom. 

Step 30 - Click “Submit” to finalise the process.

Now your customers can purchase the products they prefer using the promo code you’ve assigned to the products. Not only do these promo codes help you improve your audience, but they also help you sell your products at a much faster pace!
