As you may already know, the free shipping sign is, without a doubt, an all-time favorite of every customer!
Now, with the latest upgrades of your ShopOnCloud online store that comes with a specially designed toolkit, you can create your promo code for free shipping. But beware, it can only be made available for a limited period. Follow the instructions mentioned below to create your promo code:
Step 1 - Log in to your ShopOnCloud account.
Step 2 - Click “Offers” on the left side menu.
Step 3 - Click “Cart Sale” under the Offers section.
Step 4 - Click the “+” sign in the right-top corner to add a new offer.
Step 5 - Add a name to your offer.
Step 6 - Add a description to your offer.
Step 7 - Activate the “Active” toggle.
Step 8 - Activate the “Has Discount Code” toggle.
Step 9 - Include the “Discount Code”
Step 10 - Select a Start Date and a Start Time for the offer.
Step 11 - Select an End Date and an End Time for the offer.
Step 12 - Click the drop-down in the “Process More” field and select either Yes or No. This will decide whether or not the customer will be directed to more offers.
Step 13 - Adjust the Priority option. You can choose what offer comes before what in this section. Click “Next” once you are done.
Step 14 - Select between All or Any under “Master Rules”.
Step 15 - Select either True or False in the “Select Condition” section.
Step 16 - Choose the type of attribute you want. Each attribute represents a unique condition related to the order.
Kindly note that it is important to read through and understand the following functions before you choose the attributes:
Completed order count - The offer will only be applicable once a specific number of orders are completed. This is an ideal offer method to encourage repeat purchases.
E.g. USD 250 price reduction for the 10th order.
Customer group - The admin can select a customer group and grant the offer only to them. You can use this setting to build customer loyalty.
E.g. A 10% price reduction for the registered customers.
Customer login - The offer can be given to a customer based on the method of login. The admin can choose between registered customers and new customers. This is most suitable to encourage new user registrations.
E.g. A USD 300 price reduction when a new customer registers with the shop.
Delivery date - The offer can be applied on the date of delivery and can be used to encourage stock clearance.
E.g. Orders made before a specific date get the offer.
Location - The offer can be assigned based on the shop location and is ideal for target location, geography-based products, or shop launches.
Order type - The offer can be applied to the chosen types of orders; delivery or store pickup and can be used to encourage one delivery method over the other(s).
E.g. 10% discount for deliveries.
Payment type - The offer can be applied to the selected payment types; cash on delivery, online payment, bank deposit, or any other.
E.g. A discount for online credit card payments
Product name - Offers can also be allocated based on the product name. This can be applied to multiple products and is ideal to clear stocks of a single brand or a product.
Product quantity - Once a certain product quantity is achieved, the customer will be able to enjoy the offer. This method is ideal to clear excess stock of a particular product or brand quickly.
E.g. A 10% off will be granted if a customer purchases more than 3 items from a product/brand.
Products with an attribute - The offer will apply to products that carry the selected attributes.
E.g. A 20% discount on red shirts.
Product with category - The offer will be valid only to the selected product categories.
E.g. A 20% discount on shirts.
Product with tags - If the products in the cart contain the selected tags, they will be offered a discount or a price reduction.
E.g. A USD 1500 price reduction for products with the tag ‘ Fendi’.
Shipping city - Offers can be applied based on the shipping destination of the order.
E.g. A shipping location in Amsterdam gets a price reduction of USD 20.
Shipping country - Orders from selected countries will be able to enjoy the offer. This is a strategic implementation intended to increase consumer engagement from the selected countries for a selected time duration.
E.g. Orders from the Netherlands get a price reduction of USD 20.
Shipping method - Offers can be applied to selected shipping methods; Express shipping, DHL, FedEx, or any other method. These offers can be made in collaboration with a chosen delivery partner.
E.g. A 15% price reduction for DHL deliveries.
Shipping region - Orders from multiple regions could be subjected to offers once they are selected. This method can be utilised to drive sales from any given geographic location or locality.
E.g. Offers from the EU get a price reduction of 12%.
Subtotal - The offer will apply if the subtotal amount of the order falls within the selected range. This offer type can be used to encourage bulk purchasing and high spenders.
E.g. 12% discount for purchases over USD 25,000
Step 17 - Select the type of condition.
Step 18 - Type a value.
Step 19 - Click on “Next”.
Step 20 - Select the “Percentage of the total price” under the shipping discount section.
Step 21 - Add 100% to the “Discount Amount” section.
Step 22 - Click “Submit” to finalise the process.
