The products in your online shop have different characteristics, which can be style, colour, or size. These features are known as variants. Your customers can choose between these variants when placing an order or selecting a product.
The process of setting up variants for a product includes setting up attributes and allocating them properly.
Please follow the steps given below to set up variants for products.
Variant attributes are the comparable fields you present at the front end. Add these attributes to your store and allow your customers to select between the different products available in a product line presented to them.

You can add your current attributes to attribute sets. These collections of attributes are also known as “Attribute Groups”. With attribute groups, you can allocate an attribute with the other attributes in your ShopOnCloud user console.

The following steps show how you can add variants to the products at your store.
Step 1 - Log in to your ShopOnCloud admin account.
Step 2 - Click on “Catalogue” in the left-side menu.
Step 3 - Click on “Products”.
Step 4 - Click on the Edit icon to Edit. You can also access this page by clicking the “+” icon at the right-top corner to apply the same changes to a new product.
Step 5 - Go to the “Variants” section.
Step 6 - Click on “Add New”.
Step 7 - Select from the given attributes and click “Generate”.
Step 8 - Click the “Browse” icon to select and upload images.
Step 9 - Click “Submit” once done. (By selecting “Submit and Close” you will be directed back to the product list.)
Your customers can now choose between a range of varieties of the same product when making a purchase. You can use this method on every product in your store that comprises different shapes and forms.
