This step-by-step guide helps you import the Custom Shipping Rates in a CSV (comma-separated values) file into your computer and make the custom changes you require for your ShopOnCloud online store.
Step 1 – Go to Settings on the left side menu.
Step 2 – Click Delivery under the settings section.
Step 3 – Next, click the Edit icon.
Step 4 – Scroll down to the Manage Rates section.
Step 5 – Click the Export CSV icon.
Step 6 – Click the CSV With Data (Now, the downloaded CSV file.)
The custom rate can be very flexible and thus could be adjusted based on the shipping calculation. However, this step is optional. You can also adjust it according to the shipping cost. Hereinforth, all the steps should be added to the CSV file.
Step 6 – Select the Country for delivery.
You have the option to select the respective country or pick “all countries”.
Step 7 – Select the Region or if it’s a new region, enter it in the region field
You have the option to select the respective region or pick “all regions”.
Step 8 – Select the City or if it’s a new city, type it down in the city field
Choose the respective country from the drop-down.
Step 9 – Add the Shop Location.
Add your shop location. If there are multiple shops, add all the locations because the calculation will be based on it.
Step 10 – Enter the Unit Price.
The unit price refers to the standard price allocation per product unit.
Step 11 – Enter the Weight Unit.
The weight unit refers to the standard unit used to measure weight.
Step 12 – Enter the Zip Code in a From and To.
If the zip code of the given order is a value that falls into the zip code included in the CSV file, then the shipping price will be calculated as per the weight mentioned in the CSV file.
Step 13 – Enter the Weight in a From and To.
If the total weight of the given order is a value that falls into the preset weight categories in the CSV file, then the shipping price will be calculated as per the weight mentioned in the CSV file.
Step 14 – Enter the Quantity in From and To range.
If the quantity is similar to the one mentioned in the CSV file, it will be calculated accordingly.
Step 15 – Enter the Price From and Price To.
If the price is similar to the one mentioned in the CSV file, it will be calculated accordingly.
Step 16 – Select the Customer Group.
Step 17 – Next, enter the Shipping Price.
Step 18 – Click the BROWSE button to upload the CSV file.
Step 19 – Select the relevant CSV file on your computer.
Step 19 – Finally, click the SUBMIT button at the top right side corner of your screen.
By using the CSV file to create custom shipping rates, you can easily manage the prices for different items and have them applied automatically in the cart. Now you can sell anytime from anywhere without having to worry about shipping rates.
